PT INDO ACIDATAMA Tbk, at first, in 1983, the company named PT INDO PRIMARY ALCOHOL. Then in 1986 changed its name to PT INDO ACIDATAMA CHEMICAL INDUSTRY with ethanol as the main product and is engaged in agro-industrial chemistry.
In 1987, built a factory covering an area of 11 ha with an installed capacity of 18,000 ethanol kl/year, acetid acid 12,000 tons/year of ethyl acetate, 4,500 tons/year.
Various attempts at modification and expansion was done so in a decade of ethanol production capacity we became the largest in Indonesia with an area of 22 ha of land.
In October 2005, the merger with PT SARASA NUGRAHA Tbk as well as listed on the Indonesia stock exchange with the code on the basis of Industry group SRSN and chemistry. In May 2006, changed into PT INDO ACIDATAMA Tbk.
